About WorldofAlmanacs
WorldofAlmanacs is a website dedicated to printed almanacs and calendars from all over the world. The main focus is to provide some basic information on popular out-of-print almanacs and calendars and their interesting history, making complete digital examples available for those who want to study them in detail (for free) and to provide a guide for collectors and historians who want to find particular almanacs or calendars that´s available for trade. All content within WOA will be written in english, even if the almanac or calendar itself is in another language.
Who runs the site?
The site is created and managed by Daniel West, a collector of almanacs since many years.
Will all type of almanacs and calendars be addressed?
No! Only true almanacs and calendars, that is, only those containing a table with information about the months, weeks and days will be adressed (with a few exeptions).
